As Unto Little Ones in Christ

I gave you milk to drink, not meat; for you were not able as yet. But neither indeed are you now able; for you are yet carnal.

I don’t hide that while I love and accept Thomism, I have more of a draw towards the Mystics of the Church and a Christian neo-Platonic view of being. It is within this viewpoint that I am not surprised to find myself interested once more in the esoteric.

O God, the Shepherd and Ruler of all the faithful, look down with favor upon Thy servant, Francis, whom Thou hast deigned to appoint the supreme Pastor of Thy Church; grant, we beseech Thee, that both his word and example may benefit those over whom he has been placed, so that together with the flock entrusted to his care he may attain unto life everlasting, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, pour in richest fullness Thy blessings upon Holy Church, the Pope, and all the clergy; grant perseverance to the just, conversion to sinners; enlighten the unbelievers; bless our relatives, friends, and benefactors; assist the dying; deliver the souls in Purgatory; and extend over all hearts the gentle dominion of Thy love.

Lord Jesus, shelter our Holy Father Pope Francis, under the protection of Thy Sacred Heart.
Be Thou his light, his strength, and his consolation. Amen.
